WHY microsoft not active?
I guess you just re-install windows (any version)? If you re-install Windows XP from scratch you will have 30 days. If you repair windows xp you can;t activate because your internet connection is not working. You can try this http://community.spiceworks.com/how_to/show/3381-how-to-fix-windows-xp-activation-after-a-windows-xp-repair

Is it possible to upgrade the processor for the sony vaio pcg 81114l
most likely this cannot be done, the sockets for the processors have changed twice since then. I don't think you would see a great prefprmace change if you could. You might thim=nk about upgrading to a more powerful core I7 from that generation, but you would need to find out which mother board you have and which processors it supports. Unless you are skilled in laptop repair, I would pass on the upgrade.

How do I connect a UP-D50 printer with a Sony Vaio?
Hi there
I have found some details of the printer here
http://pdf.textfiles.com/manuals/STARINMANUALS/Sony%20Security/UP-D50%20-%20Quick%20Spec.pdf
where it clearly states that the printer is SCSI based. This is not a usual printer interface, and it is highly unlikely that your Vaio will have a SCSI interface at all. However it does say "USB compatible with optional SCSI to USB converter cable" with a footnote "Window 2000/XP only" and your Vaio will almost certainly have a USB interface. Unfortunately the drivers on the Sony website here:
Sony Global DP UP D50
only go up to Windows 2000/XP with no drivers listed for later versions of Windows, so you may have problems getting a driver to work.
But I think your major problem will be getting the cable to link the two. Sony's web site doesn't come up with anything and more general searches don't come up with a lot. My best suggestion is to determine the type of SCSI plug/socket on the printer and then go for an external SCSI adaptor (USB) with the appropriate plug/socket and then use an appropriate SCSI to SCSI cable to link the two. Without knowing more about your Sony's SCSI interface type I'm afraid I can't help more.
Hope this has been a little helpful
Cheers

The mouse cursor on my laptop wandering without control?
This is what they call device interference, You might have to many wireless devices connected to a single USB port on your PC. Sometimes its a struggle between keyboard and mouse both wireless. Solution would be to limit the wireless devices to certain USB ports. For ex: plug the wireless keyboard to opposite USB port from the wireless mouse, vise versa. If you are using a multi-port USB connector, unplug the mouse from the multi-port and plug it to a single USB port on the PC.

How do I fix my VAIO with virus.
You most likely have inadvertantly installed some malware from some download site., nasty toolbar or browser extension. you need to find the program ,extension or toolbar and uninstall it from your computer. conduit is a particular nasty malware thet I have seen on nearly every computer I have fixed for somebody that was using up 100% of its processor. Advertisers get paid for every click you make on their web sites so what they do is take control of your browser and use up all of your prosessing power to repeatedly click on their ads. Ruining your day because you can\'t get anywhere on your computer and scamming the real advertisers. I have used "perfect uninstaller" to remove the nasty programs. you can download a free trial at prefectuninstaller.net . dont use softronic or any of the other hacked download sites like bittorrent. oovoo, music downloads, free movies, porn sites, and anyprogram with the word ad in it should be removed from your computer. I usually start by opening up internet explorer with no addons in safe mode. then remove chrome, firefox or any other browser left, then i uninstall adobe and java. and any other nasty programs while not conneted to the internet. then reinstall java , adobe only from the developer web site. getting rid of all the trash is going to take several hours. or you can do a factory restore which will take just as long. I hope this helps. and be very careful what you download, there are a lot of scams like popups that say your computer is at risk. and free downloads that bite.
