You might try pressing Fn/F5 or whatever key combination toggles between the two monitors. Sometimes a laptop will go into sleep mode, and won't come out; try holding the power button down quite a few seconds to see if you can force it off. Then press the power button again to restart.
BIOS passwords can add an extra layer of security for desktop and laptop computers. They are used to either prevent a user from changing the BIOS settings or to prevent the PC from booting without a password. Unfortunately, BIOS passwords can also be a liability if a user forgets their password, or changes the password to intentionally lock out the corporate IT department. Sending the unit back to the manufacturer to have the BIOS reset can be expensive and is usually not covered in the warranty. Never fear, all is not lost. There are a few known back doors and other tricks of the trade that can be used to bypass or reset the BIOS

This has nothing to do with Dell, but with your Windows network instead. Please contact your network administrator.
If this is for a home network, please contact the Internet Service Provider you use for their assistance with the configuration of your router, or check your router's manual for instructions.
Machaka,
In order to reset your bios password you will need to contact Dell Support by phone. They will verify ownership and then provide you with bios reset information. Below are Dell support phone numbers in the US.

Hello, if your cd won't open try putting a straighten paper clip in the pin hole and push in and open the door. See is something is hanging it up , if not then the cd drive will have to be replaced.

Don't worry too much about the model number used in the article. Dell tries to make their diagnostic codes standardized
If it fell down, you changed hard disk and still get message "Herd Disk Not Found", probably you've got a problem in your Motherboard.. Take it ro a repair technician Hope you still have old hard disk. Check it as external disk on some other computer, maybe it's good!.
It really depends on the type of equipment you have. Does your laptop have a HTML port? And does your TV have a HTML port? You can google your Dell laptop on how to make the config settings for displaying on an external monitor (TV) for your particular laptop model. I have done it with the VGA port to an external monitor very easily. The HTML will need some special settings depended on how old your laptop is. Good luck.
Plug a monitor into the video connector. Right click on your desktop, select Screen Resolution, and then using the setup panel, identify your external monitor and finish the setup.
