You can install or reinstall DVD driver onto your laptop. 1. Open Device Manager using devmgmt.msc command and enable "View -> Show hidden devices" option. Pavilion is a laptop, it had to work at some point. If the computer can't see it, it is not connected, probably dead...you'll have to remove it to check the connections, and most likely replace it if you can't light it up with external 5V...

Hi Patricia, Windows Games are turned off. By default, the games that come with Windows are turned off, in some editions. To turn them back on:
