Did you hit the keys that makes you toggle to an external display. Sometimes you just can't connect an external monitor, you have to hit keys that toggle between display on laptop only, display on both laptop and external or display on external only.

Try removing the main battery and unplug the power, then hold the power on button down for 30 seconds, if this does not work, remove the cmos battery for 30 seconds to reset the bios

Sounds like your windows explorer isnt starting

Please press control + alt + delete, on the task manager click start new task..

Then type in explorer.exe

For the BIOS setup try pressing the F2 button on and off as the power comes on - this should bring up the blue Bios screen - but if the screen isn't working you won't see it.
You could try moving the screen up and down to see if the screen come back.

-changeing bios-first restart computer then press[ f2] then get on key board use arrow key on key board go down you will see your boot log is on f2,change that on a f12, now push f10 to exsept settings now when asked restart computer then f12 then run windows under D:drive.

You can type "services" in your windows search box and click on the services with the gadget to get to your service manager. Then go down to "volume shadow copy" and disableor stop and then change startup type to manual to keep it from restarting.
