Battery replacement is it a dealer only job?
This is a Myth my friend.Anyone can change a battery on Tissot T Touch. The First models have 2 steps the Battery Replacement and Synchronization. After the Tissot Expert add the Reset as third step.
In my blog i have instructions with video how can you do that.

I would rush it back to the jewelers, because any intervention from you or anybody else will void your warranty.

Tissot T-Touch
Hello, if u read the user's manual, there is an option to resync the hands. Goto the units mode ( Press the middle button, and then twice in the center of the screen, so that the digital display shows either 24h Cm or 12h... u get it ) Once in that press and hold the middle button for 5 seconds, until the display shows SYNCHRO. Then use te top button to adjust the minute hand and te bottom button to adjust the hour hand, and bring them both, one on top of the other, over the 12 o'clock position. Once this is set, press the middle button again. This should to the trick.

Tissot issue
I have a similar problem which started this morning. My watch is almost 5 years old, and is on it's original battery. I suspect this is the first sign of the battery dying.

Wot size battery do I need for a t472 tissot trace
I think that's a SR936Sw or equivalent. That watch has a pop-off back, so its easy enough to access. You'll need a jewelers pincers or something like a sharp pin to extract the battery (Carefully!) as its embedded in the body.
Why Touch does not work after battery replacement?
Was the battery empty in the first place, or was the watch already defect?
Did you put in the correct and a new battery? or perhaps you did put n the old battery?
can you measure the voltage of the batteries, to check?
Just a few questions that came up with me.
How to set moon phase on tissot pr100
for Tissot PR100 Automatic Chronograph with moonphase, minute recorder, hour recorder and seconds subdials, to set the moonphase
there is a sunken button between the chronograph start/stop and the winding crown.
Using a pointed object such as a ballpoint pen, push the sunken pusher gently until the moonphase moves one step, (if you press the pusher completely in, it will also advance the calendar hand, so only press enough to move the moonphase and no more for moonphase adjustment)
