check engine light is blinking. car vibrates when accelerating. stops when you let off the gas The check engine light flashing mean the engine is misfiring. Sound like you need a tune-up.

have blown a piston....if thats th case its df not worth fixing. but also have you checked the spark plugs and wires recently....if one of those isnt good it could make the engine misfire a cylinder..
