2010 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 "brake lights fuse open circuit" Questions

brake lights will begin to flash on & off until it drains my battery. Was told it was my stoplight switch at the brake pedal. Have replaced the stoplight switch 3 times & it only fixes the problem for
