Use the S-video cable and the two red and white audio cables to plug in your item source to the TV. Leave the Yellow cable unplugged. The picture and sound should come in without changing any settings

may want to switch to the onboard video and see if it comes on. Otherwise, you may have to clear your cmos or bios and reset it back to older settings. Just suggestions, not positive without seeing it
