Husqvarna Lily 540 and 550 "needle staying sewing machine" Questions

needle staying down and the squealing sounds more like drive issues inside or possibly gunk buildup. If it was my machine, I would take it to a qualified Elna technician and ask for him to look at it.

Why doesn't needle clamp stay clamped? The needle clamp fell out while I was sewing. I can't get it to stay in. the needle clamp may need to be replaced,, a sewing machine shop can tell you for sure

Needle position will not stay fixed when the needle position does not stay fixed,, then it's time to have the machine checked to see if the part is damaged or needs a adjustment
