The width of the awning should be a standard, just measure the distance between the arms for the awning. That measurement will only be a WHOLE NUMBER in feet ; ie: 14', 16', 18', etc. Keep in mind there will be a couple inches of gap between the arm and where the fabric will lay. So, as an example for when I replaced mine, the gap between the arms was exactly 16' 4". So I purchased a 16'. It was a perfect fit.
