I need to find and prime my water pump on my Berkshire 34QS. Also, where can I get diagrams and schematics?

I have seen disconnected wires in pictures of used units. It may be for uninstalled options. Unfortunately, it seems like mfg don't want you to DIY repairs so the best you can do is make your own diagram.

IT MAY BE A TRANSFORMER PLUG TO ALLOW USE OF ELECTRICAL POWER TOOLS OR ACCESSORIES OUTSIDE OF THE MOTOR HOME SUCH AS A RADIO OR LAP TOP. I CAN'T TELL YOU WITHOUT EITHER SEEING A PICTURE OF IT OR A BETTER DESCRIPTION OF IT. IF THE PLUG IS SEPERATE IT COULD BE TO ALLOW YOU TO RUN A GENERATOR TO RUN YOUR LIGHTS INSTEAD OF USING THE BATTERIES FOR THIS.

They do not exist. Forest River may build three of the same unit side by side at the exact time and everyone of them be wired differently. I worked for a dealership that sold Forest River products exclusively and it was a real night mare at times.


What are you trying to repair or locate?

What kind of thermostat and AC system is in the coach? More than likely there has been a loss of 12v power to the control board in the AC which is where the thermostat receives its power.

You don't need to find the water pump. Make sure your water tank is empty before adding RV winterizer to the water tank. Run each faucet in the RV with bypass valve NOT in winterize position until you see the antifreeze begin to come out of the faucet. Do this for both cold and hot water side for each faucet. Then move bypass valve to winterize position and run for a few seconds.
