Circuit Breakers are either on the outside of your home, or in the garage, or sometimes in the hallway closet. It looks like a grey metal box with on and off switches. You can mark each switch, so you will know where each one is for next time you need to reset your outlets.

My double wide winnter trailer has this issue where last time 1 light switch killed half the house we got that fixed and all was great until now same half the house dead again but switch is fine this

you have an open wire between the section that is dead and the breaker panel. the first place to check would be the breaker panel - to ensure that all the (hot- black) live wires are solidly connected (screw on breaker is tight on the black wires), and that each of the screws on the white wires (neutral) are tight.
recommend that if you have no experience with hot wiring, you pay someone who does to do this, as there is some risk of electrical shock and possible ***** - to anyone not trained. A shorted hot wire will result in 'smoke' and electrical sparks - thus the problem is: you have an open circuit.

after removing the power panel cover and exposing the white wires and connecting wires to the circuit breakers, that you 'probe' - (touch) each of the white wires to see if it moves where the end connects to a screw terminal strip. If one moves, push it into the hole and tighten the screw without touching other metal while doing that.

the same check can be done on the wires connected to each circuit breaker - HOWEVER - those are 'hot' and you could inadvertently short out the circuit THROUGH YOUR BODY. be very careful doing this.

If you find a loose wire, and tighten it - that likely will fix your problem.

Seriously recommend you get a trained electrician to troubleshoot it if you have never worked with electricity before........

best regards,

Bruce

We have a 2001 presidential 5th wheel it is hooked up and plugged and everything works but the lights. Is there a separate switch to turn these on?

There is probably a breaker box in the bedroom closet behind a panel. Look elsewhere if not there and check the breakers when you find it. You may have a short circuit somewhere and the breaker opened. Or maybe even a failed breaker. Check for voltage at the breaker itself. Don't assume the breaker is getting power.

Where is the circuit breaker panel on a 2012 Salem Villa Classic 372REDS?

It should be near the floor - look for a brown or black square - the circuit breakers may be behind the door - you may have to turn the black plastic pieces 90 degrees or you may just have to pull down on the cover. Instead of circuit breakers, I think they used automotive fuses. There should also be a fan in there that runs when the AC is plugged in to cooler the rectifier.

Outlets not working all fuses are good

120-
VOLT
AC
SYSTEM
The following electrical components (if so equipped) will only operate when your
RV is connected to shore power: 120 to
12-volt power converter, air conditioner,
120-volt refrigerator, microwave oven, television(s), fireplace and appliances
plugged into convenience receptacles.

120-
VOLT
CIRCUIT
BREAKERS
The 120-volt AC circuit breakers located in
side the main load center protect all
120-volt wiring and components in the RV fr
om circuit overloads and short circuits.
Should a circuit overload or short circui
t occur the circuit breaker protecting the
affected circuit will "trip" preventing the flow of electricity through that circuit.
If a circuit breaker trips, shut "off"
the appliance on that circuit (i.e., power
converter etc.) and allow the circuit breaker to cool down for a brief period of time.
After the cooling down period, reset the circuit breaker by moving its lever "off" and
then back to the "on" position. If the circuit breaker re-trips or frequently trips,
contact your dealer to have the electrical problem diagnosed and repaired.
A circuit breaker identification label is permanently attached to the inside surface
of the 120-volt load center.
Maintenance and Replacement
At the beginning of camping season, inspect the circuit breakers and replace as
needed. Test by turning each circuit breaker "off" and back "on". Circuit breakers
are wearable parts and must be replaced
as needed, as part of your RV
maintenance. If you have any questions, consult your dealer.
Please contact your dealer for repair assistance when replacing circuit breakers.
CONVERTER
The power converter converts 120-volt AC power to useable 12-volt DC power
when the shore power cord is connected to an external power source.
The converter has a built-in protective thermal breaker that will shut it down should
overheating occur. Overheating can be
caused by operating the converter above
its maximum power output for an extended period of time, or by an obstruction to
its ventilation air flow. To reduce converter heat build keep unnecessary 12-volt
lights and motors turned "off"
.
Keep the converter cooling fins and fan clear of
obstructions.
Inspection and maintenance
If the 12-volt power converter is not working (auxiliary battery not being charged)
check the reverse polarity fuse(s) in the converter fuse panel.
There are no
customer serviceable parts inside the converter case and the
manufacturer's warranty will be void if
the case has been removed
. If you
have further concerns contact your dealer.

How do I reset the circuit breaker

Is it the AC or DC? If AC find the AC panel and locate the tripped circuit breaker. Or look for the default (electrical outlet / plug) located in the galley or bathroom. If the DC is out then there are some fuses to look at.
If all else fails then review the owner's manual that came with the rig.

Fuse panel in k z 204s

The fuse panel is located in the breaker box to the right of the breakers. Each fuse should be properly labeled. If a fuse is blown and there is a draw on that circuit there should be a red led that will light up to indicate which fuse has failed. If you have any other questions please respond to this thread.

I cannot find the circuit breaker in my 2012 Fun Finder X244 RV. Can you tell me where it is located in my trailer?

I have a Okanagan camper. Mine is below the oven behind a removable panel. It should be close to your AC cable where you plug in.
