Why doesn't the top of my slideout come all the way in?

The motor pulls in the slideout but the top remains extended by a couple of inches.

Check to be sure there is no debris in that area and that the rubber weather stripping isn't loose or stuck. Oftentimes tree leaves and small branches can fall and block the area, stopping the slideout from closing completely.

Shwintek slide. One side is not parallel to the wall vertically. Top corner is in about 2. How can I correct this?

Resetting it is easy, run slide as far out as it goes bring it in about 8-12 inches then repeat it 4 times at least sometimes takes up to 6.if that doesn't fix it could be stuff in track(wipe with dry rag DO NOT LUBE IT) or possibly motor or controller going bad. If rig has 2 slides you can flip flop controllers and see if that fixes it if it not its a motor which arent hard but tedious( check youtube for video) to replace. The controllers are usually in the exterior cubbies mounted to roof

I have a 2015 forest river v cross and the slideout squeals when extends and retracts. It's an electric screw jack. Is this normal?

no
it indicates that it is dry and needs lubrication in the slides and screw thread

Why doesn't the slideout on the driver side retract?

Keith, Sounds like it is catching on something. Is it the kind on rails? Run it out and then inspect the tops of the rails to make sure something is not stopping it. Wires maybe? A sewer cap? a plumbing part? Find a way to check the top of the slide, could be dirty with leaves or a branch or something. Have someone watch as you try it to see if it is binding somewhere, perhaps on a carpet inside or on a piece of furniture. Does it make a noise?

My slideout doesn't move, battery is new, changed inline fuse at battery, all other electrical seems to work

there is a momentary three way two pole rocker switch used to activate the linier motors that move the slide out. the most commin problem is they use a switch that dosen't have a high enough amp rating and the contacts burn out quickly. it is very importent to release the switch immediatly after the slide stops motion going in or out or these switches burn out very fast.

Repair slide <living room is extended and won`t return>

Check to ensure nothing is blocking the slideout, its path or the gears of the motor. If you don't see a dimming of the lights when you push the retraction button or don't hear any motor noise check the fuse for the slideout motor. If all else fails there should be a manual slide retraction option somewhere that allows you to retract the slideout using a crank or a power drill. Check the owner's manual.

What causes the slideout not extend completely on one side

More information would be needed, i.e. yea, manufacturer, model and type of slide. But there could be many reasons, the slide mechanism may out of alignment, there may be something interfering with the slide so it will not extend. Or it could be simple such as a piece of carpet jamming on the inside!

We would need to know more about where you notice the issue!

Rv slideout adjustment

Every slide out has a manual override for the motors. You should be able to call the dealer you purchased it from and they will tell you where it is. You can then adjust it back to a closed position and use it normally.

Main Slideout not working

Not sure what kind of trailer you have, but the fuses should be behind a metal cover - for mine, its located under the refrigerator. When you open it, you will see all of the fuses. Hopefully, they are labeled, but don't bet on it. Use a meter to check the fuses - put the meter tip on each side of the fuse, with the meter on volts. If you read 12 - 14 volts, the fuse is blown. A good fuse will not show any voltage.

If you can't find the fuse box, when you have the camper plugged into AC, turn on all the lights - the fan that cools the inverter should come on - follow that sound and you will find the fuses. Good Luck
