Owners manual needed for forest river rockwood premier pop-up camper, 2516G
SOURCE: How do we connect a forest river pod to home
The R-Pod use 30amp power (110vac). You can buy an adapter that will reduce the plug from 30amp down to 20amp which is typically what your home outlets will be. Keep in mind; however, that when plugged into 20amp or 15amp service you will not be able to safely run the AC with any other appliances, or the refrigerator on electric with other appliances, etc. The concept for the adapter is so that you can plug in at your home to a standard outlet to turn on the lights while you pack the camper and load the refrigerator. It is not designed for long term use.
If the bed is on the slide, more than likely the mechanism is under it. If not then it should be outside in the under belly.
I would check for voltage at the switch first.
Contact the manufacturer of the coach for their owner's manual. However, each appliance will have a separate owner's manual form its perspective manufacturer, i.e., Water Heater = Suburban, A/C = Dometic, Refrigerator = Norcold, etc.. There will not be a diagram of electrical or plumbing as a majority of the RV manufacturers do not publish that information. To connect the battery you will connect the negative cable to the "-" terminal on the battery. This negative cable is typically white in color and will be directly connected to the frame of the coach. The other cable is typically red in color and will be connected to the "+" of the battery.
