Mine is located underneath of the slide. If you lol through the back wheelwell you should see a black rod. My camper came with a manual crank rod. Not really sure if you could use anything else...it's a lot of cranking

2006 5th.wheeler wildcat.. the over head lights in the one and only slid out. Which is dining table an couch. Both have no power

If the overhead lights in the slide-out of your 2006 Wildcat fifth wheel trailer have lost power, there could be a few potential causes for this issue. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the problem:
  1. Check the Circuit Breakers and Fuses: Start by inspecting the circuit breakers and fuses in the RV's electrical panel. Look for any tripped breakers or blown fuses that may be responsible for cutting off power to the lights in the slide-out area. If you find any, reset the breakers or replace the fuses with ones of the same rating.
  2. Inspect the Slide-Out Wiring Connections: The slide-out extension and retraction may cause wires to become loose or disconnected over time. Carefully access the area behind the slide-out, where the wiring for the overhead lights is located. Check for any loose, damaged, or disconnected wires. Reconnect any loose wires securely.
  3. Check the Slide-Out Switches: There may be separate switches or controls for the slide-out mechanism and the overhead lights. Make sure the slide-out is fully extended or retracted, depending on the current position, as some lights may only receive power in a certain slide position. Verify that the slide-out switches are in the correct position.
  4. Inspect the Slide-Out Wiring Harness: The slide-out itself may have a wiring harness that connects to the RV's electrical system. Examine this harness for any visible damage, wear, or signs of wear. If you notice any issues, repair or replace the affected parts as necessary.
  5. Test the Lights with a Voltage Tester: Using a voltage tester, check for the presence of voltage at the light fixtures and along the wiring path. This will help you identify if there is a break in the electrical circuit or if the issue lies with the light fixtures themselves.
  6. Replace Faulty Light Fixtures: If you determine that the overhead light fixtures are the source of the problem, they may need to be replaced. Check for loose or corroded connections in the light fixtures and consider installing new ones if necessary.
If you have gone through these troubleshooting steps and still haven't resolved the issue, it may be best to consult a professional RV technician. Electrical issues can be complex, and a qualified technician will have the expertise and tools to diagnose and repair the problem accurately. Remember to exercise caution when working with electrical systems and disconnect the RV from the power source before performing any repairs or inspections.

Slides stopped working on my 2017 Forest River Sierra 378FB need help locating the fuse.

While researching your model, it looks like the panel you need to look for is down right of the bathroom sink. When you open it, keep in mind that the AC & DC circuits are in there. DC has fuse and AC has breakers. Hopefully they are labeled for you to make locating the ones you are looking for easier. Can you pull each fuse to check or is a multimeter to see if you have the 12-13.8VDC on each side of the fuse. Remember there voltage is hot even with shore power disconnected. To remove the voltage, you need to turn off (open) the Main Battery Disconnect. Typically, these are located in the storage compartment area or near the location of the batteries. Just look for a bit red switch or lever. If you find the fuse are good, check your battery voltages. Anything less than 11.8VDC could be your problem. If less, charge the batteries with a trickle charger or put into shore power.

I have a 2017 Rockwood 8324bs. I have no power to the slides and all breakers and fuses are good. Please help

Forest River manual for your travel trailer says they have hydraulic and electric slides. Look online for the manual for your slide manufacturer for troubleshooting steps.

1995 terry camper electric slide out doesn't move can you move it manually?

Yes, all campers with slide outs have a way to manually crank the slide in/out in case of motor or electrical failure. The fun part is figuring out where exactly the place to insert the tool, if you have it. Larger slides with rails typically are brave to the main frame under the slide out whereas the smaller type (bed) would be under the bed and the false floor for protection.

I have a 2013 Rockwood Mini lite 2503S. Where is the manual over ride located for the kitchen slide? Looked everywhere. Need to know in case I have problems with the slide coming in. Thank you Dave

Somewhere either on the lower body line or under the body line near the frame around the middle of the slide, you should find a small diameter hole, maybe about 1 to 1-1/2", for a specific crank handle to be inserted. If on the body panel, it should have a rubber grommet/O-ring to identify it. If on the frame, no grommet but the crank will fit through it to reach into the inside of the frame to engage to motor manually. Depending on the specific location, it could be between tires or within the fender well of the tire. If the slide is already out, it should be much easier to spot the insertion hole on the frame. That motor is attached to the frame for rigidity and support either directly or by a sub-frame section. Don't be affraid to stick your head up under there with a good light source to find it.

Where is the rear bedroom slide reset circuit breaker switch on a 04 fleetwood revolution

There is a fuse panel that houses the slide control and the leveling system. Check your manual for its location, but usually under the coach below the driver area...

Thank you i know where is my fuse box but supposed to having fuse around the batterie in front of trailor and i cant found the motor for the slide out

In most cases there will be two terminal circuit breakers, not fuses, located behind the front cross frame support or on the inside of the frame. The slide motor will be located between the two main frame beams toward the opposite side of the slide. Find the slide mechanism that usually has the gear track on the bottom of it. Follow that from the slide to the center of the under belly of the coach. You should find the motor there.

Slideouts will not move

Hydraulic or electric slide system? If electric, could be a low voltage problem or failed inline circuit breaker. Also, do not try to move more than one slide at a time because it will blow the fuse. If hydraulic, make sure the bypass valves have not been opened. Do not add fluid while the slide are out. If you do, when the slide come back in they will force the excess fluid out of the reservoir and make a huge mess in the storage compartment.
