Yamaha news mate v50 coil pack
I apologize, but I couldn't find specific information regarding a "Yamaha News Mate V50" or "Yamaha News Mate V50 bike maginto coil pack" in my training data. It's possible that the model name or terminology might be different, or it could be a less common or regional variant.
In general, the ignition system of motorcycles, including coil packs, helps generate the spark required to ignite the fuel-air mixture in the combustion chamber. If you are experiencing issues with the coil pack on your Yamaha News Mate V50 or any other motorcycle, here are a few steps you can take:
1. Visual inspection: Inspect the coil pack and its wiring for any signs of damage, such as cracks, corrosion, loose connections, or frayed wires. Ensure that all connections are secure.
2. Testing the coil pack: Use a multimeter to test the primary and secondary resistance of the coil pack. Consult the manufacturer's specifications or a service manual for the acceptable resistance values. If the readings are outside the recommended range, the coil pack may be faulty and should be replaced.
3. Professional assistance: If you are uncertain about how to proceed or if the issue persists after visual inspection and testing, it's advisable to consult a professional motorcycle mechanic or authorized Yamaha service center. They will have the necessary expertise and tools to diagnose the specific problem with your Yamaha News Mate V50 and provide appropriate solutions.
Additionally, if you have more detailed or specific information about the issue you are facing with the coil pack, please provide additional details, and I'll do my best to assist you further.

1995 Yamaha virago runs but no lights work
Hi,
If possible, please transfer the lights to another working bike and check if the lights work when that bike is turned on. If so, then your bike needs to be repaired (might need old wires changed) before your lights and horn will function again.
Thank you.

Why would you replace the freeze plugs on a 1996 Royal Star?.
lots of places to leak , not just core plugs
moved you from cars to MC
rad leaks
cap leaks, bad cap (seal inside split)
head gasket bad.
see Antifreeze in the oil? seen on dip stick or engine oil turns to milk.

leaks to ground hot, testing parked see it leak with eyes,
12 to 15 psi pressure will be clear as day leaking if seen to ground.
find where it leaks to first, then what is leaking next.
compression tests.

ask a shop to diagnose it/
not running Antifreeze per the manual?
2007 Yamaha Virago taillight doesn't work
All vehicles built after 1927, for road use, must have a working tail light.
Yes it has one, probably needs a new bulb or reconnect the socket on the mud guard.

2015 450 Yamaha ya how do I check the oil?
Stand the bike on it's centre stand or a track stand to make sure the bike is straight and upright. On the side of the transmission is a small window with a centre line marked as LOW. It might be near the gear shift pedal. This 'Site Glass' should be the colour of the engine Oil. Using a helper GENTLY rock the bike side to side. The colour of the window should not change if the oil level is correct. I you can see a fluid level line when the bike is upright or when you rock it the oil level needs topping up.**NOTE** The entire engine uses Less than One Litre of oil so topping up will only need a tiny amount. There is a Check bolt mounted higher on the engine you can use to check for any over filling.I've attached a link to an owners manual for the Yamaha YZ450F to show you what to look for and how to do it. The basic method is the same on most motorcycles. Look at pages 3-14 and 3-15.https://cdn.yamaha-motor.eu/owner-manuals/Motorcycles/B11-28199-80-%20YZ450F-EN-2016.pdf
