I own a 1978 Suzuki GS750 E and it has a Vetter fairing and saddlebags. I'm wanting to remove these for a cleaner look. I need to know what new parts I'm gonna have to have, to complete this conversion.

The best bet is to Google " motorcycle salvage suzuki " and also try " Vintage motorcycle parts. " Go to the site below where you can see a parts diagram for your specific bike. You will select the actual brand, year, model, etc., once you go to the site. Part numbers and prices are also shown. You can order parts from this site. In the event no price is shown on a particular part, the part is not in stock.

SOURCE: The motor idles fine on my 1978 Suzuki gs750 but

It could be a clogged jet on your carburetor, it could also be varnishing in the float bowl possibly making the float stick.
Try cleaning out the carb with carb cleaner and blowing the jets with air, not too much air pressure.

My 1978 GS750 has a stumble right of Idle, any ideas? Carb settings? Thank you.

needs just a little more air on your idle mix screw and if that won't fix it, take your carb slide out and drop the inlet needle down 1 notch so as to take a little fuel away during idle, that makes it come on more crisp & clean

I have a 1978 Suzuki GS1000. I'm trying to hook up a Vetter Windjammer fairing, CAN NOT figure out the wiring and I don't think i have the proper diagrams. PLEASE help!

Do Not use the diagrams. Your turn signals have certain colored wires that go to them as well as the headlight. Make sure you run a ground wire . If the turn signal uses a separate ground keep it separate. Your Windjammer wiring harness is also color coded . Make sure the colors used for the right signals in the fairing go to the corresponding colors for the right turn signal, then the headlight, then the left turn signal , Extra power wire for a cellphone charger or radio. I have purchased 6 motorcycles with Windjammer fairings on them and had to rewire each one because the installer could not follow the instructions and do it correctly. The only thing that might make your install tricky is if the fairing harness colors do not match from one fairing quick connector to the other. Draw a diagram on a piece of paper to keep your colors straight.
