Hi, I have a Bosch undercounter freezer and it won't stop beeping!!! All the lights flash whilst beeping, the lights are under the super freeze button, mute button and the temperatures. If I hold down the far right button the beeping stops for around 5 mins and then just starts again!!!

A blinking orange light on appliances such as refrigerators and freezers indicates that the "supercool" or "superfreeze" feature is active. • The plug has not been inserted into the electrical socket, or not
far enough to make contact, or there is no power in the house.

• Pull out and reverse the plug before putting it back in the socket.

• The appliance is not operating correctly. Contact the Technical
Assistance Centre.
The refrigerator and the freezer do not cool well.
• The doors do not close properly or the seals are damaged.
• The doors are opened too frequently.
• The OPERATION knobs are not on the correct setting (

• The refrigerator or the freezer have been over-filled.
The food inside the refrigerator is beginning to freeze.
• The REFRIGERATOR OPERATION knob is not on the correct

• The food is in contact with the back inside wall of the refrigerator.

• The SUPER FREEZE button has been pressed (rapid freezing):

• The door is not closed properly or is continuously opened.
• The outside ambient temperature is very high.

I now have these kinds of refrigerators and freezers to maintain, and have found some will take as much as 18 - 24 hours before the lights will shut off after they have overheated from their doors being left open.

Turn the power off to the refrigerator and manually defrost the freezer until the freezer bis no longer cold and then replug the power cord

It sounds like the fan will need to be replaced.

These lights flashing are an indicator that something is wrong with the unit. Once the problem is solved the following steps will reset the lights so that they stop flashing. If you don't believe there is an issue you can try these steps and it will reset if nothing is wrong.

1.) Turn the refrigerator and freezer to 0 this will cause them to turn off.

2.) Hold Super Freeze and Super Cool buttons down for 15 seconds.

3.) Return your freezer and refrigerator temperature settings back to what they were before you turned them all the way down.

If this doesn't stop the lights something is still wrong with your unit and it is informing you of this.

Turn it round and check the electrics for the compressor are dry. You probably flooded them when defrosting and may have shorted something. If it still won't start with everything dried out, call a fridge technician
