What gear are you in? does it go through all the gears? how many shifts do you feel? if you arnt getting through all the gears i would look into the valve body and the tcm also take it to autozone or any parts place and have them try to pull a code from the tcm, this will help diagnose if it is electrical, otherwise it is mechanical, good luck and take care

I would tell the dealer you want your rear differential opened up, checked, and more fluid added. There really is no test they can do other than to pop the cover off the differential.
does it start in neutral and park? if yes, linkage should be ok. The trans has it's own computer. you can buy used for about $50 from EBay or car-part.com
