Hi, I have an 86 YX600. I bought a battery last week thinking that the battery wasn't keeping it's charge. I had no problem riding in the back roads but as soon as I hit traffic it died. I checked the voltage going to the battery and it says 11.0V at idle and it's at 13.9V at 3000RPM. I have 2 parts bike so swaping parts is no problem. What should I do next?. I opened the alternator cover and the brushed look ok but a little worn. They are not to the wear mark yet.

Hi , I bought a rosewill bk-500a ,now it will not keep a charge. It is only about two weeks old. Any ideas ?

Even though it's new the battery may be shot. I bought something and it said battery good for three years and it lasted for a week. Either take it back or replace the battery yourself if you want to try. But my advise is take it back if its new.

Battery not charging

Looks like the battery is wasted. I'd have it replace it. A new battery should keep charged for longer period of time.

How long will batteries last if not used?

Get the batteries tested .As a motor mechanic your husband should know about battery care you could have removed them and charged them with a car battery charger or any of the trickle chargers used to keep batteries charged while not in use

Battery won't charge up

One or more of the cells in the battery may have died while it wasn't being used. LI-Po batteries are memory resistant but they can still develop one if they're left fully discharged too long or at a half charge too long. They require full charge\discharge cycles to keep them from developing a memory.

My camera wil not power on.

Depending on the situation, it could be several issues.
- Battery may not be charged, or wasn't charged properly. - Battery is cold. - Camera may actually still be on, but it won't show on the monitor because you may have them turned off.

Try this: Press DISP until shooting data or photo information displays, it should show up at some point. If it doesn't then it has to be the battery.
If you don't think it is, try and provide extra information on when was the last time you used it or the last time you charged the battery and etc. Thanks!

My cell phone (just got it about 6 weeks ago) just went black....it wasn't that the batter wasn't charged I don't think....It would fade in and out over several hours and now its being charged...

If your Phone is only 6 weeks old then you are entitled to FREE WARRANTY REPLACEMENT. So before you attempt any trials it is best to check this out.
The battery must last at least for over two years in the worst case and so this can be a case for claim.

My aunt recently bought a secondhand scooter shoprider us pat no 4798255 without a users manual and the scooter will not charge please could you help?

Kathryn Was the scooter working when she bought it? If the batteries were fully charged and now it won't charge then I would suspect the charger. If the scooter wasn't charged when she got it and won't charge then I would replace the batteries Hope this helps

How long to fully charge the battery

It takes 8 to 12 hours for a charge. I leave ours in for 24 and it seems to last a little longer. You might need to purchase a new battery which you can get at Walmart by the power toys. They usually run about $40, hope this helps.
