Cuts out while holding one speed off and on just not all the time

i know that the previous gen quest had the fuel inertia RESET switch on the driver side kick panel...

fuel is cutting off via the ECM for your generation though

"If the engine speed is above 1,800 rpm with no load (for example, in neutral and engine speed over 1,800 rpm) fuel will be cut off after some time. The exact time when the fuel is cut off varies based on engine speed. Fuel cut will operate until the engine speed reaches 1,500 rpm, then fuel cut is cancelled."

do you have trouble codes ?

most use vacuum to hold the throttle open.. some use a signal off of the speedometer sensor..this sensor may be going bad..

Have you checked the fuel filter? It may be time for a change. In a Manual transmission when it dies any time as long as your still rolling at a decent rate of speed you should be able to push the clutch in to start the engine back on.

yes.when your engine revs upto to many RPMs it will cut off the cruise control to protect the engine. It is not recommended to use cruise control on steep grades

I cant tell you how it got how it is, but I can tell you how to reset it to manufacturer settings.

First press the off/stop button and stop the pump.
Next hold down all 4 speed buttons at the same time for 45 seconds. Led will flash once and pump will not be able to be started by any button.

Next cut the power to the pump at the breaker and leave it off for 2 min.

Last, restore power at the breaker, select speed button and press start:)

Thats all there is to it!

Sounds like your "speed sensor" is failing. When it fails it will cause irregular shift patterns and engine idle speeds.

what i've done in past is, i used ''carb choke cleaner'' or ''intake cleaner'' started the engine and sprayed right in to air filter , that worked almost every time. this is a first thing i do before i start taking things a part.
this also happens after a long storage time.
DO NOT flood the carburetor cause it may damage piston or cylinder.(just do it gently).

I have the same truck and have had the same problem, this is what fixed it,, clean the idle speed control valve and throttle body with the CRC throttle valve cleaner and disconnect the battery for 5 minutes, that should cure the problem

remember to match the blade width to the type of cutting you are doing. Also keep in mind: * Narrow Blades can make much tighter radius cuts, but tend to twist and wander when making long straight cuts. * Wide Blades can't make the tight turns that narrow ones can, but they hold a straighter line than their narrow counterparts. * The tpi determines the speed with which the blade cuts through stock. Blades with high tpi cut slower but leave a very smooth edge. They are best for detail work on thin stock. Blades with low tpi cut quickly and leave a slightly rough edge. They are great for resawing or long rip cuts. * Steel Blades are inexpensive and work well for cutting softwood. Steel blades, however, dull quickly in hardwood. * Bimetal Blades are made of high-speed steel and can cut thin metal or wood. * Carbide Blades are for wood cutting only. They are more expensive than other blades but stay sharper longer than steel or high-speed steel.
