Hi i have a suzuki gsxr 750 2004 my lighting (head, blinkers tacho speedo) come on then off and so on , have checked connections and fuses all ok any idea on what might be the cause cheers bruce

Try replacing the flasher relay they are relatively inexpensive . It controls the blinking as in hazards and blinkers

It may be that the speedo and temp are mechanical, whereas the tach and fuel are electrical. Check fuse for inst. cluster for clean and tight fitment. Check electrical connection at back of inst. cluster.

You either have a broken wire or the switch is bad or you have a bad ground, You need to get a DVOM and go back over everything. again because you're not getting power to the light from the switch or a bad ground.

Check the ground connection of the gauges and the black/white wire from the headlight.. Alternately, wire an additional ground wire from the battery's - terminal to the black/white of the headlight and the common ground of the gauges.

If you got ignition lights it won't be the fuse.
Check that the speedo gear is ok and then check the cable is ok.
If all those are ok then check that the speedo head is working by spinning the cable in the speedo head.

Speedo drive came from your gsxr power commander. try to visit a shop that do check this small box.

This is either a ground issue or 2 separate problems. Check the tail bulbs there should be 2 filaments in them unless they are LED. In the case that they are led Check the grounds and the fuses.
