I own a pulsar 150 UG4 2010 model since april 2010. Since then i notice that my bike gets over heated even in short trips say less than 15-20kms at a constant speed of 60-65km/hr. and burning smell comes from my bike once stopped. I change my engine oil every 2500km. My bike gets so overheated that i am unable to keep my leg in the brake pedal. I have tried changing all the best available engine oils for my bike from SHELL to CASTROL but the problem still remains. Due to this overheating problem in my bike i refrain from going on any long trips on my bike. Please suggest me a feasible solution asap.

Hi frnds I purchased pulsar 150 2016 a month back ..til nw Ive reached 1500 km and my 1st servicing is over and nw. I am getting a burning smell from the engine side ..smell in the sense very huge amount..even while driving I can smell..if I stop @d traffic al eyes on my engine side ..I felt embarrassed every time these days and as I saw there is no leakage nothing and exhaust also no problem..can u guys help out what might be the problem and how can I stop the smell

Check your spark plug and see what color it is, it sounds like you might be running really lean and that will cause the bike to run hot. if the plug is white or lighter in color thats most likely what is happing.
