The problem is probably you carb. float is sticking open, you need to check the float bowl to see if it has fluid inside the float, the float may have a crack in it ,if so you will need to replace with a new one. to get to the float you have to take the lower half of the carb apart,it should only take one screw to seperate it.

2002 grand am does not leak after driving, but I wake up in the morning to a huge puddle of oil.

SOUND LIKE FRONT CRANKSHAFT TIMING COVER SEAL OR REAR MAIN OIL SEAL LEAKING START ENGINE LET IT IDLE SEE IF YOU SEE OIL DRIPPING UNDERNEATH CAR LOOK FOR OIL LEAK AT TIMING COVER OR AT REAR OF ENGINE WHERE REAR MAIN SEAL LOCATED. CHECK ON TOP OF ENGINE INTAKE MANIFOLD AREA WHERE OIL PUMP DRIVE GEAR IS.O - RING AT THE OIL PUMP DRIVE GEAR WILL CAUSE LARGE OIL LEAK.OIL PUMP DRIVE GEAR IS LOCATED WHERE THE DISTRIBUTOR USE TO BE LOCATED.KEEP EYE ON OIL LEVEL IN CRANK CASE.KEEP PLENTY ENGINE OIL ON HAND UNTIL YOU FIX.I WOULD FIND LOCATE PROBLEM QUICK AS POSSIBLE BECAUSE OIL LEVEL GET TOO LOW ENGINE WILL SEIZE UP LACK OF OIL..

I cant find how to check the oil level on my 83 rm 250 anyone know how to or where on it to check

Look around the clutch cover for a screw or bolt somewhere around the 4 o'clock position(not a mounting bolt, it will actually go thru the side of the cover). Remove it, and with the bike level oil should be at the level of this hole.
If you can't find the oil level hole, or want to be sure, just change the gear lube. There is a drain bolt in the bottom, and the correct amount of oil is stamped on the cases in cc's or cm3. Reinstall drain bolt and measure out the correct amount of good 10-40 oil and put it in.
The gear lube should be changed every 10 hrs of operation, and it's cheap insurance to keep your clutch and tranny in good shape. Good luck!

Float wont shut off fuel when raised

Needle or seat damaged. Fuel in air box ? Would be wise to make sure crank case isn't filled with gas... you may not want to star it.

78' 80cc suzuki

Use 10w40 motor oil in the gear box. Don't use any synthetic oils, oil marked "EC", or oil with "special" additives. Use Two Stroke ENGINE oil in the pump.
