Hi guys,i have a kymco s200 bug it turns over but doesnt start.i have checked spark at plug.no spark,so i had the coil tested its ok,and changed spark plug.but still no go .any ideas

    recheck that coil agin, it may look like its on the spark plug but its not.My name is Daniel # 603 748-4937 ill tell u what i had to do to get my S 200 peoples runnin agin i had the same problem, cant be on the computer right now im workin,call and ill take u step by step on what i had to do to get my S 200 back workin agin. hope things go well with tht good luck

    the bike was running fine i just left ignition on for four days and now wont start

Under the seat you should find a fuse box with the ignition fuse blown............Hope this helps.

    sorry mate,its a 2008 bug s200 model,no fuse box under seat,there next to the battery,any help would be greatly appreciatsed.

    I would check all the wireing for the run and stars switch if equiped with these type and also the plug wires for continuity. Hope this helps.

    i have a2008 kymco people s 200 with the same problem to, someone please help me [email protected]. it runs very good on a sunny day, but on a cloudy or rainy day no spark from the coil to the spark plug

When you say the plug is hot, you presumably don't mean the spark plug so which plug is getting hot?

Whichever plug it is it shouldn't be getting hot - heat is an indication of excess current flow or a poor contact. I suggest you add more information in the comments.

Take your spark plug out of the cylinder, reconnect it to the ht lead and place it on to your frame if you see a spark then your coil is fine, try a new spark plug, if there is no spark get a new coil and plug.

Remember there is a 2t and a 4t version of the kymco vitality and the spark plugs are different.
