I have a ducati multistrada 2003. The bike was bought used but in an excellent condition. The guy who owned it had no time for it and the multi had only 7000km. I had an accident: a piece of rubber (faulty spark plug) was found in the timing belt and my engine stopped and i felt but except from scratches and a broken mirror nothing else was damaged. the thing is that now it wont start. there is no ignition from the sparks. at first I thought it was the sparks and I replaced them then I thought it was the immobiliser and I replaced the antenna twice but again there is now ignition. I cleaned every screw, and everything that has to do with current on the duc but no ignition you can listen the engine turning but no ignition. HELP.

I'm pretty sure the multi was never an 800. Def cause for a lot of problems.
You could bandaid fix the situation w/ a custom dyno-tuned pc3, starting w/ a map from a multi.. It would end up costing you around $500-600 all said and done.
perhaps it's time for a DP ECU specific to the S2R 800.
good luck
