I have a 2009 V-Star Classic that I just sent in for repair. I am being told that even with the extended service plan I have that they will not cover a problem with my cycle even if it apears to be a defect. the bike is and was my primary sourse of transportation, and yet I am being told that the gas tank is rusted out because of lack of use. The bike is only 2 1/2 yrs old, riden everday except 4 weeks during the winter and even then it sat with a full tank of gas. how in the world is a motorcycle gas tank going to rust out in 4 weeks???? now I am being told that to fix the problem, I have to pay $1,100.00 to clean the carbs and replace the gas tank, ON A 2 1/2 YEAR OLD BIKE....RIDICULUS!!!!!

Top stopped working on my 2009 Audi A4 Cabriolet. Had to have motor replaced last year at dealer. Luckily, I had Costco 7 year extended warranty that covered it. Service told me that the Costco plan is handled by the same company that handles the Audi extended warranty.

I'm not 100% sure of what you are saying. I gather you have a 3-year extended warranty? Error 01 is usually associated with failure of the IS system in the lens so it would most likely need to be sent to Canon for repair. I have only had one Canon service issue (nine years since my first EOS) and they provided an RMA for UPS return to them. I suggest you contact CanonUSA repair and request an RMA.

our bike is out of warranty by 8 years.....should i ask for warranty on my 1987 FXR? or should i just man up!

cracked screen can it be fixed

My children had purchased a TV for us at Christmas time along with a 2 yr service plan and I had contacted the number that was included in the service plan to register our TV and was told just to hang onto the receipt and phone the number in the service plan if we need to have anything repaired.

I work for the Wal-Mart PC Care program. The PC Care program is free, it provides assistance in installing a year worth of virus protection. Anything beyond that is on a pay for fee service. It does not replace the original Dell warranty (which as pointed out) you were under. The little card board disk hold clearly states that you should save your receipt here. The receipt can be generated again at the local store. A customer can also purchase an extended service that comes info effect after the original warranty expires. It is not a bad plan, but it does pay to read and know what the plan covers. You still need to contact Dell as you are under their warranty. Pre-existing conditions are not covered by any extended service plan.

It does sound like there is damage to your lens. Manufacturers’ warranty does not cover damage but a Best Buy™ performance service plan with accidental damage and handling would cover the repair. To find out if you have a performance service plan with adh on the camera you should call 1-888bestbuy. If you do have the plan you could bring your camera to a Geek Squad® precinct in a Best Buy™ store and they can send it out for service. If you don't have a performance service plan with adh on it you could still have it sent out to get an estimate on how much it would cost to repair it, but often with digital cameras the cost of the repair exceeds the value of the camera.
