This is most likely caused by a loose connection behind the start button module on the handle bars. There should be 2 screws on the back of this module. Remove said screws and it should split apart in two pieces. You can then inspect the wiring to see if there is a loose connection.

Honda 125 innova kick start problem

Picture a lawnmower. Pull the starter cable with the lawnmower on its side. Envision the movement being the same on the kick start. Removal of the cylinder housing requires removal of the starter arm. Many scenarios the arm connects to a gear with a bolt. Recommend bike shop. So as not to damage gear.

When I turn key on I have head light but no instrument lights and it won't turnover

I would suggest you check the wiring loom around the headstock as you were able to cause symptoms when moving the handlebars. You may have a broken wire inside the loom so you will have to open it to inspect it.

My 1999 Harley Davidson motor cycle will not start after it fell over on the right side. What do think the problem is?

Possibly broke the hand controls or damaged the wires. If the grip moved its probably damaged.

When i try to start the bike the ignithion system dont work untill i lut off the startr button

Battery is too low or the battery cables are dirty aND POOR ENOUGH THAT THE VOLTAGE AT THE COIL IS TO LOW TO WORK. sEE IF THE BIKE WIL start if you jump start the bike with jumper cables from a running car . If it does, connect the jumper cable to the base of the coil and the battery negitive and see if the improved ground corrects the problem. next if no help connect a wire to the battery positive to the positive wire on the coil and then see if the bike starts OK.. If it does serch down the bad connection in the power circuit to the batery though the inghtion switch to the coil.

Tried to start bike a couple times and it just quit. Checked fuses and they were not blown. Had trouble putting the main fuse back in and not sure which side of the the starter magnetic switch goes to...

HI, AS YOU SAID THIS IS A MAGNETIC SWITCH, SO IN THEORY WHEN YOU PRESS THE START BUTTON THE SWITCH SIDE OF THE RELAY OPENS THE CIRCUIT AND ALLOWS 12VOLT DC TO PASS THROUGH TO THE STARTER THERE IS NO CORRECT WAY TO FIT THE CABLE, FIRST FIT THE BATTERY POSS LEAD TO THE RELAY CHECK THE CABLE FITS CORRECTLY AND IS NOT TAUGHT AND DOES NOT RESTRICT ANY OTHER PARTS FROM BEING FITTED,SECONDLY FIT THE STARTER SIDE CABLE TO THE RELAY, THE ABOVE TASK SHOULD BE COMPLETED WITH THE BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE REMOVED FROM THE BATTERY, THUS THE NEG SHOULD BE REPLACED AFTER THE POSS SIDE TO MINIMISE THE RISK OF SHORT CIRCUIT, CHECK BATTERY HAS SUFFICIANT CHARGE. HAVE YOU TRIED BYPASSING THE RELAY BY CONNECTING THE STARTER SIDE AN D THE BATTERY CABLE TOGETHER THIS SHOULD TURN OVER THE ENGINE, WITH THE KEY ON THE BIKE MAY START, IF IT DOES NOT START, SOMETHING MAY BE CLOSING THE CIRCUIT LIKE A SIDE STAND SWITCH, CLUTCH LEVER SWITCH, ENGINE CUT OFF SWITCH,OR AN ALARM IF THE BIKE HAS AN IMOBILISER FITTED, REMEMBER TO MAKE SURE YOUR PROP STAND IS FULLY UP, TRY HOLDING IN THE CLUTCH LEVER, HOPE THIS HELPS

Bike has electrical power , but starter doesnt do anything, battery is good. how do I differencate the problem? starter , coil , other electrical componet? it was just laid down before it start going bad....

Check the start solenoid. Check the large terminals. Do you understand how it works?

When you press the start button, you energize a electric magnet that pulls a disk against the bottom of the two large terminals. Over time, these connections become burned and they may not make a connection.

So, one terminal is the battery, the other goes to the starter. check for voltage on the start side with the key on and the start switch depressed. Voltage = starter trouble. No voltage = your solenoid may need replacing.

Prove it ... with a jumper cable (really, a automotive grade jumper cable ... not a little wire) connect the battery side to the start side to see if the starter will spin.

I hope this helps you
