1977 Yamaha yz400 specs

I want to know- if there is a big difference between a 2001 v-star classic and , say a 2005 or 06 v star classic. Are the newer ones lighter, or advanced in some way, enough to make a difference?

I can only think of 2 ideas. This coming weekend, 25/26th April is the international classic motorcycle show at Stafford County Showground. You may find a book stall there with something suitable. check your point gaps, may be to small. also the timming mechanical advance may not be working
