You can make ur own dealer switch to get the fault code on ur clocks so u know what is at fault. These are the steps- turn ign off, hit kill switch, under rear seat there is a two wired connector, use paper clip or wire to connect the points, turn ign on, turn kill switch off and u should get fault codes up and go from there. This will save you money rather than a garage charging hours rate to do the same. Good luck

Hi mat when turn bike on no problems ride and accelerate no broblem go as fast as I like but when slow down by holding my clutch in or gear down f1 light come on and find it hard to idle when it come to a stand still, so I switch the bike of and start it f1 is gone. and so on.

F1 means there is a fault stored for the Suzuki agent to read, repair and remove. The fault could be anything from a fuel injection/engine management error to a low battery.

Sensors in the Fuel Injection system have detected a major problem. The Fuel Injection system will not allow the bike to start if a major problem comes up. Take the bike to a dealer and have them hook up a code reader. This will tell them what triggered the alert. Bear in mind, it may just be a bad sensor.
Most sports bikes are limited to 300km/h by the manufacturers in an effort to be responsible.
Actually the ? was about the 1000 not "most sport bikes". The Suzuki gsxr1000 for 2007 is rev limited to 184 mph. U do the math to figure out kph but in the U.S. who cares about the metric numbers.
