Wants to start but wont turn on,turns on with starting fluid but shuts of quick [email protected]

do a fuel pressure test on your fuel pump

Chances are its an ignition problem if nothing happened by using starting fluid. Have you pulled the plug wires and checked for spark ?

Do you have normal fuel pressure ?
Will it try to start using starting fluid sprayed into the intake ?

Could be the fuel filter, or the fuel pump

Raise the vehicle up & support on jack stands

Remove the injector fuses

Turn motor over with the key & starter, as you turn
the steering wheel only a little back & forth

When you go to the run with the fuse in,just start it
quick & shut it off as fast as you can about 6 times
then your done & check fluid level

You car uses special honda steering fluid

If the starting fluid works then you have a fuel pump or a fuel pump relay issue. The fuel pump relay allows the pump to come on for about 2 secs and prime the fuel system. Once the engine starts then the power to the fuel pump runs through the oil pressure circuit.
If the car starts on starting fluid and then continues to run... I would lean toward a fuel pump relay issue. Hope this helps, Good Luck!

I think your fuel pressure is borderline.How accurate is the gauge? Those injectors usually wont work under 58psi. I would replace the fuel pumpp and filter if the truck has over 125K miles on the original pump. .

renew the shut off switch on the injector pump ,i think the solonoid isnt lifting the shut off valve properly or it is sucking in air somewhere

replace fuel pump ***.

Check your fuel filter, fuel regulator, and fuel pump. It sounds like you are starving the engine of fuel.
