Hi, use your key to open the side panel. You have to unscrew both battery posts in place, then slide the battery out. Don't loose the nuts that the battery screws screw into. Once the battery is charged, you need to put the nuts in place inside the terminals and carefully slide the battery in without disturbing the nuts. Then the screws will go into the nuts for tightening. Always loosen the negative cable first and replace it last to minimize the chance of shorting the positive to ground when attaching the positive cable. Please let me know if you have more questions. I have one of these and I have the manual for it.

Lost gas cap key for 1987 Suzuki Savage. Any way to get cap off or have a new key made. Ignition key had already been replaced.

Get your key code off your helmet lock. Check your owners manual in case the original sales man was nice enough to write it down. Call original dealer just in case they are nice enough to keep a record of the key code.

2002 Suzuki ls 650 Savage Ekectrucak problem

sounds like either the battery is past its useful life (will no longer hold a charge while under load) or the recharging circuit is no longer working. i'd focus on the battery especially if its the original from 2002.

even if the trickle charger shows a full charge, remove it from the charger and immediately measure the voltage. wait about 10 minutes and recheck the voltage. if it has fallen to below 11volts without any load applied, then change the battery. be sure to trickle charge the new one before using it.
