If you can push it to a locksmith, he will be able to open it easily.

I have a jj150T-5 scooter and my key will not release the seat lock?

IS it the right key? Did it work before? If it worked before then you might have some debris in the lock itself causing the key not to seat properly. Is it a new key? If it is the right lock and key, perhaps the key has worn and you have to "jiggle" it a little - insert the key all the way in and gently try turning it, if it won't turn, withdraw the key a tiny amount at a time while gently trying to turn the key - it may take several trys to find the "Sweet Spot" for the key to work. Sometimes new keys are "too new" and have sharp edges where the key was cut. Take the key back to any key maker and ask them to burnish the key again. It sometimes helps to lubricate the lock mechanism with some graphite (you don't generally want to use oil as it can collect dust and make a goo inside the lock. If you do use some lubricant (like WD-40) in the lock to clean it and get it to work, you might want to flush it out with Isopropyl alcohol and then put some graphite (or silicon lubricant) into the lock to keep it turning smoothly.

How to open seat on sachs scooter

Tryi this it may help

Make sure the vehicle is balanced on the centerstand. The centerstand is a metal bracket located in the middle on the bottom of the scooter. Engaging it means that the scooter is resting on the front tire and centerstand. The rear tire is raised slightly off the ground.

  • 2

Insert your ignition key into the main ignition switch. The switch is located on the inside front of the scooter just to the right of center and below the handlebars.

  • 3

Twist the key to the left, or counterclockwise, to the position on the switch marked Open. If the scooter is not in the locked position, turn the key to the first Open position. If the scooter is in the locked position, turn the key to the second Open position. In either case, turn the key counterclockwise one notch to the respective Open position. The Yamaha Vino Scooter Owner's Manual cautions you that you should not push down on the key while turning to the Open position.

Grasp the end of the seat nearest the front wheel and pull it upward to raise it on the hinges located at the rear. Now you can store or retrieve items from the storage compartment

Lost keys & I need to remove ignition switch on Kymco agility50 scooter 2007

oh my freaking god, no one is of help here.

fellow kymco owner here, id start off by looking for a locksmith to make up a key for you. they typically just break into the key lock, pull out the cylinder, and use the pins to aid in cutting a key. as soon as that is done, they will have a key done for you without destroying your locks. then as soon as your done, ask them to make 2 extra copies of your key and keep them spare somewhere. i keep one in my wallet, but the key head cut down smaller, and the other at home.

i hope this answers your question.

    I need keys for scooter

Hi. Some brands of scooters use the same key for the same models, one key fits all. See your local dealer about this.
If your machine has keys that only fit your machine, the best way is to replace the complete lock, and get spare keys cut.
If this is too expensive, remove the complete lock, and take it to a good locksmith, they will be able to cut new keys to fit your lock. You can then fit your original lock back in your machine.
    Good luck. Neil.
