I bet it is your clutch switch. if it is not making good contact it may prevent the bike from starting.

Make sure your kill switch is in the run position and that you are in neutral before you try to start.

Let me know what happens please.

I have a 1993 Suziki 300 King Quad LTF . Turn key on no nutral light and just clickes when I hit starter button . But I can jump across the starter solinoid and fires right up

Sounds like you have a weak battery, test the voltage. If battery is fine then your starter relay is the culprit. Clean all terminals in battery and relay, corrosion on the connectors will cause this too

I push electic starter button..does not engage starter. will engage starter from ignition silanoid. No electricity to starter button, or past brand new ignition silanoid.

You need to check the fuse for the solenoid and make sure it is getting power, and if all else fails you might have gotten a bad solenoid.

Coils wont fire, and hit start button and wont turn over, can jump starter relay and will turn over

Try putting power to the small red on relay, this actuates the solenoid, if power now goes to starter its OK (if not replace). Then check the Start Button contacts are good - check for continuity across it - & all interlocks (neutral / clutch & side-stand switches) work OK. Also check for continuity between the start button & starter relay + from relay to solenoid

95 jetta wont start unless you pop start it i changed the starter i have all the power just when i turn the key nothing

check your fuses under the hood and under the dash
check polarity of battery (if you unhooked booth leads)
is the battery any good?
you probly conected the leads to the starter incorectly (recheck them)

(the following asume your tur n key ignition system is functioning properly)
to test your tur n key system simply hook up a test light to the small lead running to the starter cylynoid "while the wire is disconected" and have a friend turn the ignition over. [dont furget to test the test light first lol]

or even got the wrong starter completly (usaly a store problem)
did you " bench test" the new/used starter befor installing it ?
iv goten brand new starters doa

is the ground strap hooked up ? is there corosian on the battery posts or any of the high amperage conections?

is the cylynoid on the starter or somewhere else under the hood?
cautiously try to bypass the cylynoid ie run a hot wire to the small lead on the cylynoid
(this can usaly be done by jumping from the main red wire on the starter to the hot lead of the cylynoid)

notes: when bypassing the ingnition system (jumping the cylynoid)
DO NOT have the ignition in the on postion and it is best to remove the lead from the cylynoid (incase of a short in the wire's some place)

if nothing remove the large red wire on the cylynoid and touch it directly to the starter lead itself (there will be a fair amount of spark when doing this its normal) but make shur you are conecting to the starter lead and not a gound point as this will cause exsesive sparking that isn't good
dose the starter tur n the engine over
back track untill you find the fault be it starter itself, cyclynoid, wiring, blown fuse, corosion, bad battery,

still cant find the problem take it to a shop!
hope i helped yah

2004 Daelim Roadwin starter issue

Sounds like the starter silanoid went bad. Take a screw driver and find the starter silanoid witch is uselly by the battery. It has the + cable coming from the battery to it and is bolted to it and then the other bolt has a cable going to the starter. Take the screw driver and touch the 2 bolts at the same time and the starter should turn the motor over. Make shure the bike is not in gear before you do this. Good Luck

Wont start

Sounds the starter is no good (sometimes they'll work intermittently for a while before they totally **** out). Of course it could just be a starter wiring problem (sending wire).

Kawasaki zzr400 (1994 model),streetfighter wont start

check starter solenoid.see if getting power to starter side when pressing button .if yes check if power to starter w/ test light when pressing button.if power there check starter, also motor, will it turn manually or is it seized.if no power to starter side of solenoid, jump across solenoid posts w/ a large screwdriver -motor will probaly turn over,w/ key on.if small wire to solenoid has power when pressing start, solenoid bad,if no power, wiring or start button bad.
