1-on right side of motor remove the cover,the one with suzuki on it,that is the signal generator cover.2-use 17 mm wrench on signal generator rotor and rotate engine clockwise the "T" mark on the rotor should line up center of the pick up coil,to the left.3-there is a notch on the intake camshaft and a notch on the exhuast camshaft they should point away from the motor level with gasket service.timeing mark on rotor is "T" and timeing marks are the notches on the end of camshafts.
