Question about 2007 kawasaki ZX-10R
Where is the stator rectifier located on a 2007 Kawasaki ninja zx10r? @
Hi, Penacapa96 for this scenario you will need your service manual that has all fastener torque specs and a wiring diagram on the back pages, parts fiche, and owners manual if you can't find the best tool you ever bought for your Kawasaki, despair not, for a mere zero $0 you can download another one.

the stator is behind the front cover on KS side, must drain oil and will need new gasket, normally when it burns out it takes the rectifier/regulator with it!!
Recommend Ricks Stators on line this is a better replace ment than OEM, mine has lasted 2 1/2 years so far (this was third replacement) Also recommend relocating the regulator to the bottom front of the battery box (requires fab a plate and extending wires and solder connections) this allows it to get more air and stay cooler I also added additional grounds

Testimonial: "thanks a million for the help!!!"
The frame mounting points are completely different. A zx 636 frame wraps around the motor where as a zx10r frame goes directly over the motor. That's how they keep the zx10r nimble enough to feel like a 600cc sport bike. But in this day and age if you have enough time and money you can accomplish anything. Honestly it's just easier to sell your 6 and buy a 1 liter.

Just did mine the other day. You're going to have to take off the side fairings and the enginge mount thats under the frame in order to get the other two out. That means the mirror, upper, mid, and lower fairing along with the engine mount, and all other little connectors that's going to be in the way. Its a long drawn out process..but it feels so good when you ride knowing you did it..
