Fuel pouring out overflow pipe when I went to start up after 4 months not moving (2000 svs650)

Check for burst or leaking fuel lines. Check the rated fuel pressure recommended by manufacturer. Most fuel injected cars have standard pressure below 5 psi. Check the fuel pressure regulator too. Fuel pressure too high can cause injectors to leak and cause overflow and poor combustion.

the white smoke is coolant burning, a cracked head or head gasket would cause this.

Take bowl off carb,free float if stuck and check fuel inlet needle to see if it closing fuel when bowl full.blow into fuel inlet on carb opening and closing the float at the same time if it stops you blowing then it is working if not then you have found the problem.it will be one or the other. www.thepitstopcardiff.co.uk 50cc lifan aero on the road 999 pounds inclusive 3year warranty

Either the float is set to high, you have trash in the lines, or the more likely scenario is the atmospheric vent line is pinched or plugged.

sounds like stale fuel in the carbs,you need to drain the carb bowls and let fresh fuel flow through them.

sound like you either have floats in the carb sticking or needle valves are not seating properly

it's probably just your overflow from the float. it doesn't connect to anything, it just let the fuel overflow come out when your float level is high. if you turn on the fuel petcock and it starts pouring out, your float needle is sticking. clean the carb and the float needle valve assembly and see what happens.

Your float is stuck and allowing fuel to overflow. If the float, floats it checks off the fuel exactly like the tank on your toilet.

Check your waste pipe roof vent.

If it is not free (of dead animals leaves etc) - it creates a suction - rather than a drain in your pipe.
