SOURCE: NEED TO REPLACE AQ BLOWN HEAD GASKET
If it has blown a head gasket its highly unlikely that the guy didn't know something was wrong. Check that the water overflow bottle has not been over filled. Its worth checking the radiator cap rubbers and spring pre-load as it could just be the cap leaking under pressure. Its not unusual to get a moisture build up in the crankcase if the bike has had lots of short runs and this will fowl the inspection glass. The fan has a thermostatic control and should cut in and out by itself. Pull the plugs out and you should be able to tell if there is any water leaking back into a cylinder by there condition. If everything seems ok and its still doing the same thing then you will have to have the cooling system pressure tested to find internal leaks.

the seal in your water pump but doubt it sounds like head gasket was it installed correctly? the head gasket is a crush gasket and can only be tightened one time after that it is junk and will not seal again there made from copper and crush really easy hope this helps good luck

Check the seal behind your water impeller there are o rings back there if one of them goes bad you will leak antifreeze into oil, your impeller is run by the oil pump i believe, you should not see oil in the water also your bike will run fine but when hot will foul the plug with water look for white smoke sometimes and the smell of anti freeze on start up
i have a 400 4x4 doing the same thing new piston rings and top end now lossing water but runs great oil looks real thin
took to the dealer to fix this week will let you know how i make out.
