Clearance should be 0.10mm-0.20mm (0.10mm-0.15mm for hot cams)
same as the drz, intervals are supposed to be 14,000 miles but I used to do mine at less than 10,000
hope this helps!

Need to know the valve clearence on my 2005 klx 125

Here is some rule of thumb specs
intake should be between .003" to .005"
exhaust should be between .006" to .008"
When it's set right, it should feel like pushing a butter knife through butter right out of the fridge, also be aware that sometimes the lock nut can either tighten the clearance or loosen it.. This is a job to really take your time on

Please check further but I set them to:
(intake): 0,04-0,08 mm.
(exhaust): 0,08-0,12 mm
Both are set cold. Works for me.

I have one front shock leaking oil. how do i add oil and how urgent is it to be fixed. 2003 klx 400

Hi, You will have to disassemble your leaking shock and replace the oil seals. Be carefull when taking it a part the springs will snap out, and you have to compress them to get it together. Good luck.

My klx 400 stock carb would stop leaking gas through the over flow line. why?

check and clean the carb, there must be a dirt or an small object blocking the intake line of carb causing to malfunction the fuel floater. the floater acts like a control switch when the fuel reservoiris already full the floater floats causing to shut of the fuel.
