Samantha please tell us what car you have .
And also do you have a spark at the spark plugs ?
And fuel in to the cylinders . Remove spark plug see if it wet with fuel .

What is the firing order on my 2002 Mazda B3000 DS ? And how do the numbers go on my distributor?

Which engine do you have in the vehicle? They fitted them with an in-line four cylinder and a V6. The firing orders are different for each version. I'm assuming the distributor has NOT been removed and is set correctly!
**Note, Take your time to make sure you get this right!**
The Four cylinder is the standard 1,3,4,2, firing order with number One being the nearest cylinder, (spark plug), to the belts and pulleys on the engine. Use the plug leads as a guide as they should be four different lengths. The longest plug lead to the spark plug furthest away, shortest to the nearest spark plug.
With the distributor cap removed make sure the engine is at Top Dead Centre for cylinder One. Check where the metal tip on the rotor arm is pointing as this is where the plug lead for Number One should go.
Refit the the distributor cap and insert the lead for the Number One spark plug into the hole nearest where the rotor arm tip was pointing. Now refit the remaining 3 plug leads in the Correct Order, (1,3,4,2,) into the remaining 3 outside holes in a CLOCKWISE direction. The centre hole should connect to the coil pack lead.
A V6 engine uses the same setup BUT a different firing order. (See photo). 1,4,2,5,3,6. In the photo numbers 1 and 4 are nearest the belts and pulleys.
Set your distributor as you would for the four cylinder engine, fit plug lead one and going CLOCKWISE fit them as the 1,4,2,5,3,6 sequence.

What is the order of spark plug cables to the distributor for mazda 323 2001

On the distributor cap on each HT Lead connection there is a number presenting the spark plug connection with the cap. if the distributor cap has only the number "1" and not on the other hole for the HT lead connection then you fit the spark plug one lead and following the clockwise rotation fit the other HT leads. 1 for first spark plug,2-for second spark plug etc. First spark plug is fro the front of timing belt side. Need to know how to replace spark plugs and wires on a v6 mazda 2001

All you need is a deep socket that is the right size to fit your spark plugs and the new set of leads.

Spark plugs:
remove the spark plug end of the lead, use a screw driver and rag to place down the whole to mop up any oil that may be down there. remove your spark plug, place the new one in and replace the lead. simple as that really.

Leads:
These can be more difficult. As you pull the leads off the park plugs and distributor you will need to take note of which lead goes where and write it down. once all 6 are removed just simply reverse the process. A good rule of thumb is the length of the leadas to its location on the engine but dont take it for granted.

Changed plugs on a 1999 f-150 engine now I have a engine miss

check you dont have a broken lead removing them one at a time with engine running will show you which cyl is not firing check plug wasnt cracked when being fitted change lead double check firing order if the engine didnt miss before the plugs were changed then this course of action should fix the miss its easy to cracl spark plugs when fitting if the plug socket does not have rubber insert carbon leads only need to be pulled to hard or bent to far to damage the carbon fibers that run through them check that you dont have two leads crossed this is a common mistake with v8sand is easy to do

Where is distributor located1995 960 6cyl

hi, if you follow the leads that come from the top of the spark plugs where all these leads plug into is the distributer their will be four leads running along the outside going to each spark plug then the lead that goes into the center of the distributer goes to the coil.

So if you follow the four ht leads from the spark plugs what these all plug into is the distributer, if you are removing the distributer then make sure you mark where each lead goes as you need to put them all back in the right place.
Its best if you mark say the first lead with a 1 and then write a one onto the distributer where that lead goes into use permanent marker pen to do this so it dont rub off. getting the leads the wrong way round will mean the car will either miss fire or not run at all so just keep it all marked up properly.

Do not know where to connect hour meter wire to the spark plug

One wire is the flexible silicone rubber wire from the spark plug to the ignition coil. You don't have to strip or connect the other wire, just wrap it around the spark plug wire a few turns.The current from the spark ignition will induce a signal into the hour meter that the meter uses to determine when the motor is on or off. How do I change my spark plugs on a 1999 Subaru Forester? Mechanics want $80 dollars just for labor to change the plugs.

remove the bettery on the left side of car on the right side of car remove washer bottle remove spark plug wires and take of your spark plugs ( not an easy process hard to get to frame rail in the way)

Tips on changing plugs for the first time

I have never changed the plugs on this type of bike but here is a rough idea for you.

Dissasemble:
1. Remove the fuel tank making sure you dont spill any fuel
2. Remove the Airbox
3. Number up the plug leads (mark them numbers 1-4) making sure you dont get them mixed up i.e no.1 lead resembles piston no.1, no.2 lead resembles piston no.2 piston and so on
4. Remove the spark plugs with a correct size spark plug socket

Installing:
5. Before installing the new spark plugs make sure you have made the right gap clearence on the tip of the plug
6. Install the spark plugs
7. Re-fit the leads making sure the correct marked up lead goes with the correct piston
8. Fit the airbox
9. Fit the fuel tank

Hope this is help to you. If you are in doubt then take the bike to a nearby mechanic in which i should imagine that it is not expensive to have them fitted professionly
