SOURCE: Brakes

First bleed the MC, Remove the brake hose - block the outlet of the MC with your finger - pump the lever and crack you finger loose for an instant to bleed the air out - repeat til only fluid comes out. Quickly install the brake hose. Bleed the brakes by cracking loose the brake hose bolt. Bleed at the caliper bolt. Bleed as normal with the bleeder valve.

SOURCE: water leak

have you checked you hoses for the antifreeze leak?
you need to fill your radiator and clean up any antifreeze and start the bike and warm it up and look for where you antifreeze is coming from.
these bike didnt have ha problem with head gaskets but it is a possibility.
this model had o-rings on the head not a gasket

on your brakes first try to bleed the system. and then go from there.

SOURCE: no front brakes on 95 yamaha big bear atv

gravity bleed. make sure fluid is always full. crack open the bleeder screw and let the brake fluid drip until no bubbles. Then close bleeder top off fluid and replace cap. Now, pull the brake handle. If there is no pressure or has bleed down, the master cylinder is kaput.

I'm trying to adjust front disc brake on 2005 Yamaha ttr 125. The problem is I'm not getting enough stopping power. Too much play in the brake lever. Depresses all the way but doesn't lock up the front...

I strongly suspect you have air in the brake lines. Bleed the brakes and go from there. Of course there may be other issues, but this is where I would start.

I am having a problem bleeding the front brake with the standard method on a Yamaha XT 125, 2005 model, can anyone help?

I may need a bit more clarification, but I am assuming the lever is 'spongy'?
The simplist thing to do first is to tie the front brake lever back (ie make it stay on) using a zip tie. Leave this overnight/24 hours and it will allow the trapped air to rise.
Failing this, you can bleed the brake in reverse. Get a large syringe (ebay/chemist) and some pipe that fits over the bleed nipple and the syringe. Remove the master cylinder cover and **** out (use the syringe) the brake fluid. Now fill the syringe with fresh brake fluid and connect to the bleed nipple on the caliper. Open the bleed nipple and slowly push the syringe in, to force the fluid up to the reservoir. Be careful that the fluid doesent come out of the reservoir and splash on your paint work. Lock the bleed nipple up whilst still slowly forcing the fluid in. This normally works.

BRAKES

THis is a simple job for some people. The trick is that you need both hands to do this. (1) pump your brake till it gets stiff. (2) Loosen the bleader valve and let out the flouid. (3) tighten the valve and repeat a few times. Check the brake flouid from time to time.

No back brakes loss of pressure at the pedal

First, check the rear brake master cylinder for fluid. Then check down the brake line to the caliper looking for leaks. Lastly check the caliper for leaks.
If the resevoir is low/ empty and you add fluid dont forget to bleed the system.

04 Yamaha Yz 125- Rear brake Master cylinder

Are you bleeding it by gravity (flowing down from resevior thru caliper) or forcing the fluid up thru the caliper to the resevior. The latter will get more air out in less time. Simple cheap pump kits are available at you auto dealer and u can use it on your other vehicles.
