The oil pan is on the bottom of the transmission. There are two plugs in the oil pan, one for engine oil and one for transmission drain. The one closest to the left front corner is the engine oil. Loosen the drain and allow just a little of the oil to drain out and check it. It should be dark colored and smell like engine oil rather than transmission oil. The transmission oil drain is nearer the center of the transmission.

Location of the oil drain and oil filter?
There are two drainplugs on the bottom of the motor, one on the left side and one on the right. The filter is a cartridge type, and is located on the lower left of the motor and is held in by two torx screws. Consult your owners manual or service manual for details and pictures. Have fun, and watch out for the mess it makes as it drains!

you must look under the motor you will find a oil pan it looks small at one end then curves
down to a bigger part thats ware you will find the plug it looks like a nut in the middle or
at one end on the big part

LOCATION OF DRAINPLUG ON 2003 HARLEY DYNA LOWRIDER
The oil tank for your Dyna is on the bottom of the transmission. The oil drain plug is the one closest to the left front corner of the pan.

Looking for drain plug 2006 superglide
The oil drainplug for your superglide is on the bottom of the transmission. The oil tank is on the bottom of the transmission. The oil drain is the plug closest to the front left corner of the oil tank. The other plug is the transmission oil drain.

If the gasket is on the oil pan you may try tightening the bolt. To tighten pan gaskets you'll need to tighten in steps in a crisscross pattern. Snug a bolt move across the pan snug another bolt. Do this until all bolts are snug. Do not over tighten pan gasket bolts or leaks will occur. Just uniformly snuf.

please buy an owners manual, and read it carefully. Everything you need to know to change oil is in there.

Find the drain plug...on bottom of case
drain oil
remove oil filter
replace with new oil filter
replace drainplug
find the oil fill...usually on top
fill to capacity...usually stamped on side cover
