caliper brake bracket bolts torque to 180 n.m or 133 ft.lbs
I owned two GP's 1998/2000, changed the brakes (did Olds Intrigue brake upgrade) on both of them.
Make SURE you use LOCKTITE on the caliper bolts!!!! I have seen them back out numerous times, if you loose one, I have even seen one driver on the track, slice a rim open from the inside.
The top bolt came out, when you applied breaks, the caliper bracket would swivel into the inside of the rim, and grind. He didnt notice the noise on the track and slicked a rim until the tire went flat.
this just happened to me last night. Luckily no major damage.
