Clutch Hi everytime i pull the clutch lever in and go to kick the bike into first gear the bike stalls as if i havnt got the clutch pulled in ? please can you tell me what you think the problem is thanks.

Hi, you might find the nut holding the clutch basket onto the shaft has come loose, so instead of pulling the clutch plates apart you are just pulling the clutch basket along the shaft.
or if the bike has sat for a while you might find the clutch plates have stuck together, this isn't that rare, you can start the bike and roll it along at about 1st gear speed, then click it into gear, then pull the clutch in and rev the engine, this should make the plates loose again. hope this helps, please rate, thanks, good luck

See if you can push the bike with it in gear and the clutch lever pulled in. If the clutch is stuck, push start the bike, jump on, get to about 10 mph, pull in the clutch lever and hit the rear brake hard. This will usually break a stuck clutch loose.

Back wheels often move when the lever is pulled in...this is due to hydraulic drag caused by the oil on the clutch plates and is totally normal. You should be able to stop the wheel by hand with the lever in.
With the lever out the clutch is fully engaged and the engine will therefore stall with the brake on...
As long as the wheel rotation can be stopped by hand with the clutch pulled in it's behaving normally...
Rocking the bike in gear is a method that's used to seperate the plates on a clutch that is dragging...usually if it's not been used for a while.

Bike shuts off when putting the bike in gear

Sounds to me to be something to do with the neutral switch. It stops you starting the bike when it's in gear and you havnt got the clutch pulled in. I'd check along those lines.
