I have an 07 zzr 600. had the same problem. change your spark plugs and adjust the carbs. i know it sounds crazy but the carbs being a tad rich will cause the overheating issues.

Try blowing the radiator out from the engine side with compressed air to get rid of bugs and other debris. Make sure the fan comes on when it's hot. Check the filler cap seal to make sure it is building pressure in the cooling system. Worst case is leaking combustion products getting into the cooling system through a leaking head gasket or similar. There is a chemical test available that checks for that problem. Hope this helps!

I have a 2004 Kawasaki zzr 600 that does not keep the charge longer than 2 days. What is causing this problem

hi, you probably have a "almost dead" batery, but in order to properly check, proceed as folows:
1 - give the batery a full charge
2 - disconect both cables (+) and (-) from batery
3 - check charge and see if batery holds it - a good batery must keep 12,7 to 13,2 volts for a very long period
If after this test, considering that batery is ok, then chek your wiring loom for ground losses
good luck

My car is overheating and acts like coolant from resovior is not pumping through the radiator and is in turn not pumping through engine

I assume you have checked the cooling system to ensure that first that it is full and second that there are no leaks. Those pesky little bypass hoses in the cooling system tend to go hard and split if they are over 5 years old, allowing coolant loss. The over heating could also be caused by a clogged radiator or a faulty thermostat or water pump.

My zzr 600 1994 wont go past 80mph if it reaches that. at about 70-80 mph if the throttle is pulled a little far too open acceleration stops, a reduction in throttle increases power and then slows it down...

what condition is your air filter in? put in some new plugs and go from there. if the air filter and new plugs don't fix the problem check yorclutch adjustment.

We have a Kawaski prairie 650, it has always overheated easy even with coolant, we believe a leak in radiator to be the problem. But now it has it is having starting problems. It will not always start, and...

if its running hot, then theres another problem. even if the radiator has a small leak, it shouldnt overheat if its kept full. my next guess would be an intake leak somewhere. maybe the carburetor is loose and needs the clamps tightened? or you have a loose intake manifold? also check to see that the exhaust header is not coming loose. I wouldnt think it would be a gasket, or you sould have noticed water in the oil, and alot of smoking.

More sound from stock exhaust

yes , if you can remove the baffle, then remove some of the fiberglass wrapping re fit and see how it is, dont go too mad first off. as you may make it too noisy
