I purchased my VStar 650 in April used with a little over 4000 miles. Had the bike a week and it has been running rough an hesitating. then last week I went to start it and notice fuel poring out of the top exaust pipe. The Idle is weak and when I put the choke in normal position the bike shuts off.

How often should you change your oil on a new 2007 yamaha warrior bike?

2000 to 4000 miles city driving, 3000 to 6000 highway or touring. The bike will tell you when it needs a change. It will run rough and be a little more noisy than usual (Vibration).

I have a 2002 VStar classic 650 problem with high speed vibration

I would guess that the tires need balancing. There is a product you can buy that is a bunch of little BB's you put in the tire that will balance it. I have not used it so I would recommend taking your bike to a tire shop and have them balace it for you.

sounds major. Clanking and low on oil sounds like a broken piston ring. Suggest dealer check with compression tester rear cylinder. Replace v star with Harley if necessary.

80 xs 650 hesitation and exhaust "popping"

Most likely the carbs need cleaning and adjusting. You may want to richen the A/F ratio when you do it. They are set really lean from the factory. I would go 1/4-1/2 turn out on the A/F screw.

Starting?

pull the choke out fully, start the engine, push choke into halfway if it will still run, let it warm for a min or 2. ride it, it may need choke still for about a mile. but thats trial and error, try pushing it in, you will find out right away if the bike still wants it.
i have an owners manual on this bike if you need a copy e-mail me [email protected]
