Yamaha 2001 ttr 250. Bogs above half speed, under load

I have a yamaha 2001 ttr 250. A week ago it was ok, next day it starts fine idles ok, but bogs bad above half speed when accelerating, seems like engine just cuts off, bogs under load, will accelerate very slowly, seems to rev up ok sitting still. New plug, cleaned air cleaner, cleaned carb jets, float bowl clean. Please help.

Have you checked the fuel filter? It sounds like, at minimal speed, the engine is getting enough fuel, but not under load or at high speed

Ttr90 bogs down at high rpms
I have a ttr 90 that idles well but bogs down at full throttle. Carb is clean and has new pilot and main jets. Seems to run slightly better with intake off. Which leads me to believe the mixture is rich. No adjustment on carb. Stumped?

Has the bike been stored for any long length of time?
old fuel in the carburetor will turn to a varnish like residue blocking the jets,or possibly water in the carburetor.
