Spark Plug gets wet too fast

I have a problem starting my bike. Some people tell me its because the spark plug is wet. I don't understand why my spark plug gets wet within 2 days. Do i have to change it that frequently? Even when i only use it for short distances. I have not even started to use it on off road terrain. However after i change to a new spark plug, the bike can immediately be started and it cannot be started 2 days later after.

Got spark new plug fuel carb changed won't fire or start

Is the plug wet?, maybe it's either flooded or it's not getting fuel.
Pull plug if wet dry it, make sure fuel off and crank bike with out plug in to clear the cylinder. Replace plug, try to start. if it doesn't start then you have to determine if it's flooding or if it isn't. Hows the spark look? Orange or white/blue? How fast is it cranking? Is the battery fully charged?

Spark plug fails after two hours of riding??

Either you got the wrong type plugs (too cold) and/or that bike is running way too rich! Time to use a tool like ColorTune to get to the bottom of it. Who normally works on this bike? If you don't do the work yourself, then better to take it to a reputable shop/mechanic.

Where are the components located on a 1994 E320 Mercedes Sedan?

don\'t understand: cranks fast enough (battery low??) or crank at all??. Need more detail(s);if it cranks at all but slow, you won\'t get a spark;don\'t touch the end of the spark plug wire \'cause it\'d make your butt pucker if/when you get spark!!! honestly.

How do you know if the magneto is bad

If you have a spark, you don't have a "Magneto" problem, Check the air filter and the 2 stoke oil tank. And check that the spark plug is wet, if it isn't firing and the plug isn't wet, you don't have any fuel getting to the combustion chamber.

The bike was running fine. now it will not start at all. Does not seem to be getting any spark

Fouling a spark plug with unleaded fuel and wet fouling a spark plug with ethanol fuel is more common than you would think. Take out the old plug. Test for spark with a new plug. Then put in the new plug.

My bike won't start

For an engine ti fire, it must have both fuel and spark..
After cranking to start without success, remove a spark plug and check to see it is wet, or dry.
If it's wet, you have fuel at least, and possibly no spark. If dry, you either have spark and fuel, or spark and no fuel.
2. Check spark by connecting the plug you removed to the HT cable and cranking the engine. A nice blueish spark should occur across the plug. Make sure the plug's body is in contact with the engine.
So if there's spark then there's no fuel
If there's fuel, theres no spark
When you have determine which is missing, work on that component.
Of course it could be other things too, but these are the eaiest to test.

My bike wont fire

First put a nail in the plug boot and hold it close to the engine and crank it over to see if you have spark to the plug, if you do, pull the spark plug out and see if it's wet. If the plug is dry put about a teaspoon of gas in the plug hole and put it back together, it should run for a few seconds. If it does that you have a fuel supply problem. It may have a fuel shutoff valve inoperative, or a carburetor problem. If you have no spark to start with and the plug is wet with gas, you have an ignition problem. If the exhaust smells like gas you are probably getting lots of fuel, but the spark plug can tell us lots of things. A new spark plug probably won't hurt either.

I have Boxer AT bike of 2003 made. It has Kehin PC 18 Carburetor and when I use the choke to start the bike, the bike not start at all. What's shall I do?

It seems tht it also doesn't start wth the choke in 'off' position.
Two things:- (1) :-check if the spark plug is wet wth fuel.(Crank it for a little cranks and thn remove the spark plug to check if its wet.)
(2) :- check if you do get sparks at the spark plug, by grounding it to the engine away from any fuel fumes!
I am sure one of the two is missing thts why its not starting.
Let me know the out come please.

I have a pit bike 125 its not starting wot so ever got good spark but still not start

If you have spark them it must be gas. eather no gas or to much gas. Put it on chock, be sure the shut off valve is in on position. Now crank it over a few times , if it wont fire. Check the plug , is it wet or dry .If its wet then it may be flooded and needs to dry out and air out the cylinder.Try starting when dry. If its dry try putting a 1/2 oz of gas into the spark plug hole. replace the plug and turn it over . This will get them to fire up. Good luck DFD
