96 Ninja zx6r Fuel Tank breather hose leaking gas

My breather hose from my gas tank for my 1996 Kawasaki Ninja zx6r is leaking gas and I do not understand why. All the hoses seem to be in good shape and working properly except a constant drip from the breather hose. (from my understanding this hose should not be leaking gas, it is suppose to bring air in to compress the tank as the fuel is used) I may be wrong, but either way it should not be leaking like this. Any info could help.

It sounds like that hose which runs fron the cap area (inside) the fuel tank to the back bottom is broke, if you take it to a Kawasaki dealer and have your dealer call Kawasaki there is a good chance it will get covered as long as the tank is damaged. Those hoses (metal) that run inside the fuel tak sometimes crack, there is really not way of fixing them unless you cut the tank open and then you would need to reweld it.

Where is the air filter on a 1995 kawasaki ninja zx6r

Hello
The air filter on this bike is under the fuel tank, you will have to remove the seat and there will find the bolt holding the tank down, once this bolt is removed the tank will then just lift up.
Thanks

search google for kawasaki forums. you should join one or two and ask the same question. Someone there, who has direct experience, will know if it fits or not.
