2003 Honda Shadow Spirit VT750DC - Stock carbs, stock needles, new Hypercharger w/Hypercharger recommended rejets. Idles fine, lower rpm fine. At throttle up usually in second gear and beyond at about half throttle the bike stutters as if its not getting enough gas. Checked fuel pump, relay etc no issues. Swapped jets out with same response. Any ideas?

I have a 2001 Honda Shadow Spirit VT 750DC. When trying to start it, after winter storage. I noticed gas was pouring out of the end of my Carburetor, Air Vent Tube "No. 6" At the other end is connected to a "T" , that goes into the top of the Carbs. I looked in the service manual that says because I do not have a California Emission , to connect it to the carb. Humm, I said to self. But Where? To What Carb? I checked the photos and Diagram shows no connection, HELP!!!

to start with you need to purchase a jet kit. it will come with instructions. the stock needle is non adjustable. also you need bigger jets.

HONDA SERVICE MANUAL TOLD ME HOW TO TROUBLESHOOT. GOT IT "FREE" FROM THE HRCA.HONDA WEBSITE. YOU GUYS SHOULD TAKE THE WORD "FREE" COMPLETLY OFF YOUR WEBSITE! YOU'VE DONE NOTHING BUT TRY TO CHARGE ME SINCE I POSTED MY QUESTION.

Take the hypercharger back off. The carb uses fuel according to how much air sucks through. You are putting alot more air through the carb, so it sucks more fuel into the engine. Even if your not burning all the fuel, it's running through anyway. That's the downfall to a carb.

your pilot jets may need to be replaced as your engine is using them at low & idle speeds,not sure if you can obtain them though

If you have used Dyno jet kit I have had a kit come through with smaller main jets than the stock ones causing it to run way to lean.
